My name is Lauren, I’m 29 years old and I love travelling. I’m lucky enough to have been to every continent searching out the highest peaks, the most secluded beaches, mouth watering food and the best kept secrets.
I have a degree in music business and event organisation and worked in the event planning sector for 5 years. During this time I took a career break to travel around south east Asia and Australia, spending longer that intended in both continents as a teacher of English for a few months in rural Thailand and a business development manager in Australia for a year.
When I returned to England I decided to try something new and retrained as a teacher. Whilst I loved working with children and planning exciting lessons, I still had the travel bug and yearned for more adventure.
In 2015 I decided to take my biggest trip yet around the world, through South America, New Zealand, India and south east Asia. I was always helping out fellow travellers with their itineraries, both in person and through my travel advice blog. It made me realise how tough it can be to plan a holiday in a country you’re unfamiliar with, since it requires lots of time and effort to find the amazing experiences that you’ve always dreamed of.
Now I’m back in the real world and I want to use everything I’ve learned to make your next holiday stress free and unforgettable.
